SPROWL, Joyce Evelyn
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Sprowl, surrounded by the love of family, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in Belleville, ON at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Mac Sprowl (2013). Devoted Mother to her loving daughters Dianne Utter of Belleville, ON and Marie Boivin (Paul) of Campbellford, ON. Cherished by her grandchildren Amy Karlin (Michael), Leslee Utter (Gregg), Travis Boivin (Cassidy) and Jennifer Reville (Jordan). Proud Great Nana of Mason and Jacob Boivin and Aaron Reville. Joyce is the eldest and last surviving child of Jim and Bessie (Scott) Leitch. As a long time resident of Acton Mom led a very busy and active life. She certainly had the gift of caring and serving, and gave many hours of volunteering, and took many meals and treats to people. Mom did lots of travelling with Mac and took every opportunity to visit family and friends. She always enjoyed a game of euchre. We will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Visitation was held at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton, on Sunday, January 1, 2023 from 2-4pm. A funeral service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 44 Main St. N., Acton on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 11am. A private family interment took place at Fairview Cemetery following the funeral reception. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Knox Presbyterian Church, Acton, or charity of your choice as Mom supported many of them.
