Spring time arrives on local farms
Kidding around - It’s a busy time at River’s Edge Goat Dairy in Arthur. There are many kids running around in the barn to keep farmers Katie Normet and Will Makxam and their team busy, as well as the goats producing milk, allowing Normet to produce her award-winning cheeses, yogurt and kefir products, as well as meat and other products.  Due to COVID-19, visitors are currently unable to tour River’s Edge Goat Dairy facilities. But there will be plenty of kidding around time when this pandemic is over. Submitted photo

The farm store is open, but customers are asked to call ahead to place their orders while some products are able to be shipped to customers out of town. For more details visitgoatmilkproducts.ca.

The kids are looking forward to visitors returning to the farm as soon as the pandemic is over.
