SPRING, Gary Richard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Spring, on March 15, 2021, at the age of 73. He was the cherished husband of his wife of 49 years, Sue. Loving Father of Michelle Carter (Ben) and Nicole Minkovich (Aaron). Proud Grandad of Brian, Leah, Logan and Heidi. Son of Marie and Fred Spring (deceased), brother of Ralph (May and Anne, deceased), and brother-in-law of Raven and Chris (Susan). Dear son-in-law of Margaret and George Trendall (deceased). Gary will be missed by his extended family in Canada, Ireland and England. Gary enjoyed woodworking, building and flying model airplanes, and travelling with Sue. He retired in 2006 after 28 years working in various positions at Linamar Corp. After retirement, Gary proudly worked alongside Sue in her franchise before retiring together in 2014. With gratitude and appreciation from Gary’s family, donations in Gary’s memory may be made in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Celiac Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
