SPENCER, Michael John
It is with great sadness we say good bye to Michael John Spencer, a life long resident of Everton and Guelph. He passed away at his home on March 29, 2023. Mike, age 60, is lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Morag, his children Katelyn and Bradley (Fayme) and grandchildren Jexsin and Emberleigh. He is survived by his loving parents Connie and Dave Spencer, his sisters Shelley (Dave) Lillie, Leanne (Rob) Conway, and Pam (Vince) Starratt. Mike will be missed by his aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews and many long time friends. Mike is predeceased by his grandparents Beryl and John Breese, Joan Spencer, and George Anderson. Mike was happiest being outside and working in his garden and when he wasn’t, he was calling “MORG” for his breakfast. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Friends were received at Parkview Church, 89 Speedvale Ave E, Guelph on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2-3pm. Funeral service was held at 3pm. A private burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com). If interested, memorial contributions may be sent to the Parkview Pentecostal Church – Missions Fund. A tree will be planted in memory of Michael J. Spencer in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
