SPEDALIERE, Sally (Nee Martinoni)
Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, ON at the age of 84. She will be missed dearly by her children Butch, Mike (Sherry), Vicki (Ken) and will be remembered by her step-son Paul (Linda). Sally was a wonderful grandmother to Courtney (Ryan), Amanda (Jeremy), Tyler (Kim), Mitchell, Ashlee (Scott) and Aaron (Erin), Jody (Sean) and Blaine (Kim) and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Martinoni, in 1981 and by her second husband, Danny Spedaliere, in 2004 and her three brothers, Bill, Jack and Jim Hodge. She will be deeply missed by a large extended family. Sally was born and raised in Fergus. She spent her career in kitchens, in which her cooking blessed our community from restaurants to our local hospital. Her tea biscuits, butter tarts, banana cream pie and pot roasts bring warm memories to many. She was a woman of fervour, a trusted confidant and a person with endless grace. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. A private family interment will be held at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus.
