The Fergus Elora District Soccer special needs soccer program has received a mini-grant of $1,000 from the Centre Wellington Community Foundation (CWCF) mini-grant program.

The soccer program, which helps adults with special needs be active and engaged by playing soccer, was a recipient of the CWCF mini-grant program.

With the grant, program leader Pat Espina announced on April 25 the group will be holding a benefit concert.

“We came up with the concert idea that would give us all an opportunity to join the special needs community and the rest of the community in one place,” said Espina.

The “We All Belong” concert will feature two bands -  David Cavan Fraser and Zoe and the Great Escape - and will be held at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

“We are really hoping the community will come out and support the event,” said Espina.

The event runs June 24 from 8 to 10pm. Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase at https://goo.gl/Cxltge.
