SPAHR, Viola Edith (Woods)
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Spahr (2005). Loving mother of Betty (Sam), Brenda (Murray) and the late Jim Spahr (2025), Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Mark), Mike (Nicole), Jessie (Lee) and great grandchildren Justin (Stacy), Dylan (Amanda), Owen, Reed, Abby, Molly and Isabel. Great great grandmother of Austin, Eastyn and Haizley. Sister of Dorothy Waters. Fondly remembered by family by Debbie Woods and will be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Jessie Woods as well as by her seven brothers and four sisters. To honour Viola’s wishes cremation has taken place followed by a private family interment in Palmerston Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston.
