ABOYNE – Sensational Elora’s Soup Off and Empty Bowls event is moving from Thanksgiving weekend to Nov. 2.
All proceeds go to the Centre Wellington Food Bank and the CW Eats program at Centre Wellington District High School.
The event is slated for Nov. 2, from 1 to 4pm at the Wellington County Museum and Archives.
How it works
Visitors pay admission and enjoy a variety of soups crafted by local chefs, home cooks and youth.
Sample the soups, cast your ballot, and help crown the 2025 Soup Off Champions.
Also at the event is the Empty Bowls project.
Local potters create one-of-a-kind soup bowls that are available for purchase.
Organizers are still looking for community cooks to participate – a super souper if you will.
The only catch is that soup makers must be from Centre Wellington.

Tickets for visitors are $20 for adults, $10 for a child and $50 for a family (adults with children).
