Society raises funds with plant sale
The Clifford and District Horticultural Society Plant and Bake Sale was held recently at the Rotary Park Pavillion in Clifford.
Pat Thompson was the first to arrive to find vines, plants, trees, shrubs, bulbs, annuals, and perrenials. Doris Jaunzemis and Barb Harris arranged donations of baked treats. Georgie Hutchison, Isobel Senek, Jean Yenssen, Irene Judge, Blanche Freeman, Elsie Grummett, and Ann Bowen set out flowers and plants.
President Bill Cheeseman is appreciative of all the support from the community who help make this event popular and profitable.
