SMITH, Ronald
Of Matachewan formerly of Erin passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in Guelph on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in is 76th year. Beloved father of Kimberly Gunn of Palmerston and Shannon (Mike) Graham of Alberta and cherished Grandfather of Anthony, Emily and Madison. Predeceased by his partner Norma and sadly missed by her daughters Edwina, Tina, Lorraine and their partners and children. Ronald will be remembered by his sisters Joanne and Marie (Don), brothers Ed (Christine), Ken and Norman (Juana), sister-in-laws Mary Lynne and Marjorie. Ronald is predeceased by his parents Katherine and Russell Smith, brothers Alan and Robert, sister-in-laws Julie and Sally. Fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends. To honour Ronald’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring and interred with his family in Coningsby Cemetery Erin Fifth Line. As expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Wellington in Guelph would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home Palmerston.
