John Andrew Smith, “Big John” of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday, October 14th, 2019, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Sharon Mottershaw. Loving father of Charlene Mottershaw, Justin Brummell and his partner Chloe Brogna and Joel Brummell and his wife Natasha. Cherished grandfather of MacKenzie Mottershaw, Madden Brummell, Alivia, Noelen and Jenessa Brummell. Dear brother of Lema Chapple and her late husband Roy. Fondly remembered by his nephew Luke Moore, nieces Hillary and Emily Moore, cousins in the U.K., and friends. Cremation has taken place. A come and go celebration of John’s life will be held at the Mount Forest Legion, 140 King Street West, Mount Forest on Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
