GUELPH – The Artworks Gallery in Guelph held a soft opening for the Small Treasures art show on Nov. 10.

As complications arose during the planning of the exhibition’s opening, officials decided to have a “festive opening” on Dec. 8.

Gallery officials will be present during the event awaiting guests with homemade healthy snacks and live music played by violinist and songwriter Cassie Norton.

“The Small Treasures show is a good one to attend prior to Christmas as we have a lot of beautiful smaller artwork available to purchase for loved ones,” said gallery member Diana Scott.

Lost Aviator Coffee shop, located next door is open, during the event.

The gallery is located at 404 York Rd. in Guelph and opens every day from 8am to 4pm. Scott noted the gallery members tend to have openings the Sunday after mounting their new artwork.

Small Treasures can be seen from Nov. 4 to Jan. 5.
