‘Small acts of kindness’
Dear Editor:
Just the other day, as I turned onto Main Street in Acton from Highway 7, I saw an older gentleman in the oncoming lane stop for what appeared to be an injured bird. He gently picked it up and returned it safely to the sidewalk.
Thank you to the oncoming drivers who waited patiently and quietly until he returned to safety.
Small acts of kindness are happening all around us; let’s pay closer attention to them.
