Community contributions - On Sept. 21, the 6th Annual Little Black Dress Affair (LBDA) was held at the Mount Forest Sports Complex. With 196 guests in attendance, the evening included live music by Cara Smith, a fashion show featuring local businesses, as well as both live and silent auctions. Organizers stated the event continues to be a resounding success. With a new committee at the helm this year, $16,000 was raised in support of Cancer Patient Services Corporation and the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.
