SINCLAIR, Susan Marcia Nancy
Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Georgetown Hospital, on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Susan (nee Lasby) Sinclair, in her 67th year, was the beloved wife of Brian Sinclair for 41 years. She was the dear mother of Brent (Tim) and Clark (Elspeth). Susan was the loving sister of Mae (Gordon) Smith and Marilyn (Les) McDonald and she is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families. Susan was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Velma (nee Gibson) Lasby and by her half sister Viola Hood and brother Ron Lasby. Susan was a devoted wife to Brian through sickness and in health. She took great pride in and was a driving force in her sons’ personal and professional accomplishments. Her favourite pastimes were reading, knitting and preparing delicious meals for her family. She appreciated gardening and flowers and was the caring Mom to many beloved dogs. As per Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Krembil Neuroscience Centre at Toronto Western Hospital or to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
