SIMPSON, William Thomas “Bill”
Passed peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Sharron Simpson for 52 years. Loving father of Michael Simpson (Vesna Jukic). Predeceased by his father Albert Simpson, mother Dorothy Gilbert, sisters Joyce, Audrey, Dodi and brother Jimmy. Bill was employed by The Toronto Transit Hillcrest Division for 30 years, where he was popular as the guy to go to. He named all the names and all the songs when called upon without fail. Bill always said he had a good time. Bill immensely enjoyed the nature and fishing that Grey County and surrounding areas offered. He loved all of his fur babies, especially his favourite buddy Oliver. A heartfelt thank you to the paramedics, doctors and nurses at Louise Marshall Hospital for their care and compassion. Private arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
