Sign silliness

Dear Editor:

In the mid 1930s William Aberhart leading the Alberta Social Credit party proposed that if he gave $25 to those over 21 and less to others, this would increase spend ing power and stimulate the economy. This “funny money” policy was sneered at. The idea of buying the public with its own money seems to have become generally accepted now by most political parties. This leads me to wonder who I should vote for.

As I drive around Wellington I see a plethora of signs demanding my vote. Signs range from Liberal to Remax. I have narrowed it down to two: Pioneer and Dekalb. No, I think I’ll vote Patz and they can clean away all the crap that has accumulated over the years.
