Sign ‘crime’

RE: Liberal signs targeted in Perth-Wellington, Oct.10.

I was incredulous to read that in a day and age when the oceans are full of plastic, single-use plastics are being slowly phased out and using a plastic straw is almost criminal, three police forces have been assigned to investigate stolen election signs.

The majority of these signs are printed on Coroplast or some other type of plastic material. They are manufactured by the hundreds, put out for a very short period of time, and then ...where do they end up? Most likely the landfill.

Maybe someone should be assigned to investigate that crime.
