Shawn Connerys releasing new album in Elora
ELORA – The Shawn Connerys are holding an album release party at the Elora Legion on April 5.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
The Shawn Connerys are a local band that blends “indie-rock energy with alt-folk charm,” according to its website – “a satisfying blend of nostalgia and innovation.”
The band was founded in 2004 by Michael Raab and Grant Farrell.
In 2018, drummer Ryan Young brought a dynamic new rhythm to the band, followed by bassist Dave Jones in early 2022.
Shades of the Beatles
They released their first album Town Secrets in 2014 and played a notable concert from the roof of the Karger Gallery.
Showing no fear of heights, this concert will be from the top floor of the legion.
The Oscars will be the guest band.
