SHAW, William Alexander (Bill)

Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021 at IOOF Seniors Home in Barrie, at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by parents Mervin and Evelyn Shaw. Husband of 57 years to Judy (Irvin). Dad to Kent and Carrie (Mew). Pa to Benjamin and Alexander. Brother of Jane Carol (Gowing) of Elora. Bill was raised on a Dairy farm in Arthur Township, but lived in Waterloo as a welder for 40 years. Moved to Barrie in 2006 to spend time with his beloved grandsons. Bill’s family lost him several years ago to Alzheimer’s disease. While his children have loving memories of their dad, sadly his grandsons did not have enough time with their Pa to make their own memories.
