Shakespeare in the Park returns to Bissell Park

Shakespeare in the Park – This year marks the 9th anniversary of Shakespeare in the Park, presented by the Elora Community Theatre. All plays were mostly directed by Deb Stanson and David Tanner. On Aug.  5 Taming of the Shrew was presented to a small but enthusiastic crowd. These plays are performed outside in Bissell Park in Elora. As the sun went down, technical director David Tanner brought on the lights which made the period costumes stand out against a darker background. The play will be performed again on Aug. 12,13 and 14, with some matinees.
