Santa Claus Cruise weaved through Fergus on Dec. 5
Santa arrives - The three-vehicle “Santa Claus Cruise” weaved its way through Fergus during the afternoon of Dec. 5. The event, organized by the Fergus Lions, Centre Wellington Optimists and Fergus Kinsmen, brought Santa to children in a COVID-19-safe way. The cruise, including an OPP cruiser, antique fire truck and Santa Claus on his sleigh, passed through many Fergus neighbourhoods. Residents could watch the procession from inside their homes or on their lawns and driveways. Centre Wellington Food Bank representatives followed along behind the parade to collect items residents left at the end of driveways. Submitted photo
