Rotary chicken barbecue sells out

CLIFFORD – The Clifford Rotarians hosted a sold-out drive-thru chicken barbecue on June 4 at the community centre in Clifford.

“Where there’s smoke, there’s chicken,” was the theme of the day.

Robert Foreman, with the help of Bruce Stinson, barbecued 300 portions of chicken.

Inside the community hall, Rotarians prepared corn, coleslaw, and takeout packages of butter, sour cream, rolls, and apple fritters for the meal.

A line of traffic circled through the driveway to pick up meal packages.

Rotarian Nick Oleksandriw delivered several meals for those who ordered take-out service.

Rotarians expressed appreciation to everyone who ordered a meal and those who volunteered to help out.
