Rosie is Big Film Fest February offering
PALMERSTON – This month’s Big Film Fest presentation is the 2022 comedy/drama Rosie.
Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Gail Maurice, Rosie tells the story of an orphaned Indigenous girl who goes to live with her reluctant, street-smart, francophone aunt and her two gender-bending best friends in ‘80’s Montreal.
The show will be screened on Feb. 20, 2023 at 7:15 pm at the Norgan Theatre in Palmerston. Admission is $10.
The Big Film Fest is presented by the Minto Arts Council, in partnership with the Norgan Theatre and the Town of Minto on the third Monday of each month, excluding July, August and December. The next show in the 2023 series is Revival 69: The Concert that Rocked the World on March 20.
