Rockwood Dojo athletes compete in provincial tournament

ROCKWOOD - Athletes from the Rockwood Japan Karate Dojo joined over 100 competitors at a provincial tournament in Scarborough on Dec. 3, and won a total of 12 medals.

Rockwood winners include Alex Swammy, Lucas Woodard, Grey and Hayes Templeton, Roland Haskett, and James and Jamie Gollinger. Sensei Donna Haskett, owner and operator of the 20-year-old Rockwood dojo, said the “students demonstrated huge tenacity and fearlessness.”
