Of Drayton passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Colleen (Baker) for 63 years. Dear father of Gail and Daniel Gibson of Guelph and Darren and Andrea Robb of Guelph. Cherished Poppa ofDrew and Rawan Gibson, Brock and Ashley Gibson. G Poppa of Noa, Carson and baby G to be announced. Brother of David and Peggy Robb and Kevin and Diane Robb. Brother-in-law of Bernice Robinson, Joan Clarkson and Winston Baker. Special Poppa to Sandy, Kevin, Clarke, Rich, Rob and TJ. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Donald’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the Acton Royal Canadian Legion Branch 197 on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 from 1pm – 6pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Drayton Royal Canadian Legion Branch 416 would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
