REYNOLDS, Marie

Marie passed away peacefully July 30 at Wellington Terrace in her 95th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Alvin (2005). Marie was a long-time resident of Pine Meadows Retirement Community, Belwood and in later years of Highland Manor Retirement Home and most recently of Wellington Terrace. Marie was born and raised in Wyevale, Ontario where she married and developed many lifelong friendships. She made a great impact on many people’s lives through her caring and generous nature and especially enjoyed her visits with friends, family and grandchildren. She is survived by son Bryan Reynolds (Donna) of Belwood, daughter Lynne Woodward (Larry deceased) of Barrie and son Barry (Marlene) of St. Thomas. Marie is also survived by granddaughters Christa Dickie (Matt), Kelly Reynolds Moore (Christian), Terri Warburton (Ryan) and Ashley Gordon (Andrew). She was also the proud Great Grandma to Graham, Andy, Grace, Harlee, Emilee and Clara. Cremation will take place followed by a private family service. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Highland Manor for making her many years spent there feel like it was her special home. We would also like to thank the kind and compassionate staff of Wellington Terrace and Dr. Stickney for their care and effort given during her short stay. Memorial donations in Marie’s name can be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus.
