Retirement home provides residents with classic car show
ERIN – Fox Run Retirement Home, in collaboration with classic car owners of the Over Under Car Club, will be putting on a classic car show for its residents.
Fox Run Retirement Home caters to individuals in early to mid-stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
To promote an individualized model of care, the maximum number of clients never exceeds 10.
With residents confined to their rooms and many group activities seized due to the pandemic, Fox Run decided to reach out to local classic car clubs to participate in a car show for the residents and the Over Under Car Club responded with enthusiasm.
The event will run Sunday Aug. 8, weather permitting.
