Reroot Organic Farm to host Winter Solstice event
MINTO - Reroot Organic Farm is hosting Winter Solstice at the farm on Dec. 19.
The event will run from 2 to 6pm at 5642 11th Line, Minto.
The event will feature:
- horse drawn sleigh rides around the farm;
- local artisan vendors in the barn;
- a bonfire and hot chocolate;
- farm store will be open to purchase food for holiday meals; and
- carolling with the animals in the barn.
“We look forward to welcoming the returning light after the longest night of the year,” organizers state.
Attendance to the event is by donation
COVID-19 protocols will be in place and masks are required inside the barn.
