Remuneration should be on township website: Chaulk
Councillor Ross Chaulk believes all council pay and expenses should be reported to the press yearly, as well as being posted on the township website.
At a point where many of Wellington County’s municipalities have already posted council pay, Wellington North Township has yet to do so.
Treasurer John Jeffrey anticipated that report would be made available shortly.
Chaulk presented a notice of motion to be presented on March 8 “concerning council remuneration; conference expenses and registration; mileage; cell phone, fax and internet expenses to be made public and presented on the township website.”
