Remembrance Day poster and literary contest winners

FERGUS – Awards were presented at the February meeting at Fergus Legion Br. 275 to the Remembrance Day poster and literary contest winners from Fergus area schools. Pictured from left,  Fergus Branch president Randy Graham, youth education committee member Sherri Fleming, five youth winners for Zone and District with two of the students proceeding to the Provincial level, and youth education committee member Dianne Martin. The Fergus area schools totalling nine schools contributed 270 entries of posters, essays and poems. Organizers hope to receive even more entries this year, they say.
