‘Remember me’
Dear Editor:
My face is smiling or serious,
I look down from my banner above.
I’m leaving the village and farm;
City and town has answered the call.We hoped to see you again;
Some of us came home,
Too many did not.
Nov. 11th we ask one thing
Remember me.
