Shirley Ann (Denney) Reidt of Harriston passed away at Innisfree House Hospice, Kitchener, surrounded by her family, on Friday, December 12, 2025, in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late Ken Reidt. Mother of Richard Reidt & Sam Baird of Cambridge, Danny & Janet Reidt of Waterloo, Michael & Cheryl Reidt of Harriston, and Rusty & Christine Reidt of Wasaga Beach. Grandmother of Kelsey & Tim Greenwood, Jorin Reidt & Justine Levesque, Sheldon Reidt & Danielle Belliveau, and Lily Platt, and adoring great-grandmother of Flora. Sister-in-law Wilma Denney of Novar, Marion Dally of London, Margaret Reidt of Mildmay, and Wilbert Dally of Mildmay. Loved and remembered also by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernest & Elsie (Ruller) Denney, and by her siblings Alice (Jim) Wray, Lyle (Alma) Denney, Mabel (Blake) Gibson, Ray Denney, Vernon (Verna) Denney, and Joan Schaus. A private family funeral service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with a public Celebration of Her Life to follow on Wednesday from 1:00 until 4:00pm. Spring interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Palmerston Hospital, Innisfree House Hospice, or Easter Seals Canada would be appreciated.
