CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Paul Walker Memorial Golf Tournament at Wildwinds Golf Links Aug. 15.
“This is a great opportunity to meet, challenge and collaborate,” officials state.
“We know there is value for many of our members to be networking and engaging outside of their business. Come join us for a day filled with golf, networking, and fun!”
Registration includes:
– 18 holes of golf plus power cart;
– networking and coffee beforehand;
– BBQ lunch with chips and drink;
– 19th hole social and refreshments;
– steak dinner.
Golfer passport including mulligans, feature holes, and on-course games.
Registration begins at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am.
The Paul Walker Memorial Golf Tournament is in honour of a champion for growth and change in Wellington County.
Walker was a lifelong volunteer, an integral part of the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce, longtime president of the Grand River Agricultural Society, and a strong advocate for our business communities.
He died in 2020, but started this golf tournament in 1999.
“In honour of his impact on this community, we invite you to participate in 2025,” officials say.
