Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 14, 2026 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, ON at the age of 85. Irene is survived by her beloved spouse of 63 years, Alan Read. She was a wonderful mother to daughters Stacey (David Nykoliw) and Alison (Brian Jablemann). Irene will be remembered dearly by her many relatives and her friends Victoria Park Senior Centre. Cremation has taken place.
