Raising chicks teaches students about egg cycles, life span of chickens
Raising chicks - Jenn Oelsehlagel’s class at Owl’s Nest Holistic alternative school have been raising some chicks hatched from eggs supplied by Burdock Boutique to help the students learn about the egg cycle and life span of chickens. The school will be putting the chicks, born May 2, in the yard at the Harriston-area school once they are big enough.
