QUILLMAN, Florence (Ruth)
Stepped into Heaven and into eternal rest on October 20th at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 84. Loving mother of Daniel Quillman (late Denise, 2012), and Lisa (Michael) Hilvers. Proud grandmother of Cynthia, Scott (Kelsea), Sarah (Brodie), and Joy (Colin). Predeceased by her parents Arnold (1973) and Florence (Price)Bayne (2004), brother Jim (1992), and sister Evelyn Singular (2010). She will be missed by many extended family and friends. Also remembered by the many grand-furbabies. Ruth loved the simple moments spent with family around the kitchen table and reminiscing on the happenings of past and present. She enjoyed her hobbies including sewing, reading, baking and gardening to name a few, and was always up for a good cup of tea. She spent endless hours volunteering her time and services throughout Centre Wellington including the Wellington Terrace. Cremation has taken place. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Friday, October 23rd, followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel. Cremated Remains interment to take place at Price’s Corner Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society in Ruth’s memory.
