Donna Tremblay has left Puslinch Township to become the City of Guelph’s access, privacy and records specialist.

The June meeting of Puslinch council provided a send-off to the deputy clerk at her final council meeting.

CAO Karen Landry said, “We’d like to thank Donna for all her years of service to the township and all her hard work and dedication.

“I don’t think anyone can argue how much Donna contributed to the organization and how hard she worked at it. We wish her all the best in her new endeavours at the city.”

Mayor Dennis Lever quipped “... and I won’t refer to it as the dark side.”

Lever said “thank you very much. As deputy clerk, you have been our key go-to person. I know we have probably stressed you from time to time. Good luck.”

Councillor Ken Roth joked that next year council may need to budget for a few extra flash drives because Tremblay was great at making him hand them back in.

“If she’s gone ... I may keep a few (accidently),” he said with a laugh.
