Puslinch council costs $115,369 in 2016

Puslinch’s five-member council came with a $115,369 price tag for 2016.

That amount is down from overall remuneration of $121,049 for 2015.

The combined base salaries of all councillors came in at $82,882.

A report was presented to council at its March 15 council meeting.

The 2016 expense report shows Mayor Dennis Lever had a base salary of $22,936 with a total of $27,743 after expenses.

Councillor Ken Roth had a base salary of $15,638  and $21,554 after expenses.

Councillor John Sepulis came in with the lowest salary at $6,516 with a total of $8,919 after expenses. Sepulis was appointed by Puslinch council last summer following the sudden death of councillor Wayne Stokley.

Councillor Susan Fielding had a base salary of $15,638 with a total of $24,395 after expenses.

Councillor Matthew Bulmer had a base salary of $15,638 with a total of $23,753 after expenses.

Stokley had a base salary of $6,516 with a total of $9,004 after expenses.

Council adopted the report without discussion, except to note the remuneration report is online at www.puslinch.ca/en/our-government/Council-Remuneration-and-Expenses.asp

The website allows residents to compare council remuneration back to 2011.
