Puslinch adopts amendments to taxi bylaw

Councillors here had little to say on Oct. 5 about proposed amendments to Wellington County’s taxi bylaw.

Mayor Dennis Lever noted the previous week, the issue was discussed at Wellington County council.

There were a number of changes, Lever said.

Some of it had to do with definitions of accessible vehicles, and removal of some definitions that were more restrictive in the area of accessibility, Lever said.

The proposed amendments require overall approval of the lower tier municipalities.

Councillors here endorsed the proposed amendments.
