Pumpkin carving contest hosted by Lions in Clifford

The frost was on the pumpkins on Oct. 26 at the Clifford firehall, which may have been the explanation for a lower turnout.

But thanks to Chayse Leith, Hunter Leith, Zak Leith, Ella Wiltshire, Shondra Wood and Michaela Casemore, the Clifford and District Lions Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest carried on.

Bonnie Beirnes performed the judging duties which resulted in Wiltshire taking the first prize with Leith and Casemore receiving second and third prizes respectively. Everyone else received a toonie for a great job.

Larry Newton of the Clifford firefighters opened up the fire hall and handed out frisbees to all the youngsters.
