MINTO – The local Pride committee is gearing up for activities during June, which is Pride Month.

Pride in the Park will be held on June 12 from 12 to 2pm at the Lions Heritage Park in Palmerston.

Activities for the whole family and a Pride march through the park are on the schedule for the event. Vendors and food trucks, including Beaver Tails Mobile will be on site.

The Crown Harriston is hosting a Drag Night for Minto Pride with Lavender Promotions providing the talent.

“It promises to be a night of spectacle, glam and entertainment in efforts to raise money for the Minto Pride Committee,” organizers state.

The Drag Night for Minto Pride is set for June 11 at The Crown Harriston, in Harriston. Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets are available through Eventbrite. Call or email thecrownharriston@gmail.com for more information.

“This is a 13+ show with parental discretion advised,” organizers note.
