Presentation on speaking
Effective speaking – Toastmasters and the Mount Forest Lions partnered in preparation for the Effective Speaking Competition to be held on April 9 in Mount Forest. Caroline Beren, centre, from Toastmasters, recently gave a presentation on Tips for Public Speaking, open to students and the general public. Beren is flanked by poet Samantha White, left, and student Rebekah McDougall, who were on hand to pick up ideas on making an effective presentation.
