POLO, Dorothy Margaret (nee Pinder)
Passed away peacefully on April 1, 2019 in her 82nd year at Guelph General Hospital. Dorothy (Dot) Polo, mother of Larry Polo (Lisa). Sister of Ken Pinder (Carol Ann), Bruce Pinder (Jeannette), Tom Pinder (Lorraine), Pauline Pinder (Maureen), Donna Grinwis (John), and the late Gerald Pinder, the late Joan Caskenette, the late Gordon Pinder, and the late Darlene Caskenette. Dot worked as a bookkeeper for many years, and was the owner of Dottie’s Diner, but she will be remembered mostly as coach of many baseball teams. Please come and share your memories at the celebration of Dot’s life at the Anglican Parish Hall, Main St., Rockwood, on May 4th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Food and Friends program of Children’s Foundation or Kids Helpline. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel.
