PIGOZZO, Lino Giordano
Lino Pigozzo passed away from a heart attack on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 64. Lino is survived by his loving spouse Theresa Pigozzo (née Van Der Pryt); his children Joseph (Elizabeth), Mathew, Jonathan (Laura), Paul (Melissa), Nicholas Mitchell (Shannon), Mary Aasman (Jesse) and Daniel; his grandchildren Annabelle, Madison, Abigail, Kevin, Sarah, Erik, and Isabel; his siblings Bruna Kitts, Quince (Anne) and Dino (Linda); and sister-in-law Mary. He is predeceased by his brother Bruno; brother-in-law William Kitts; and parents Aquilino and Annie Pigozzo (née Finamore). Many will remember Lino as the owner of the Countryside Family Restaurant in Fergus, and more recently in service to the Wellington Catholic District School Board as Custodial Coordinator. Visitation and prayers were held on Friday, July 22, 2022 in Guelph at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel. Donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Kitchener or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
