PERNFUSS, James Charles
Peacefully at home on April 7, 2021 with his wife by his side. Jim is survived by his wife Louise Anita Pernfuss, their children Christopher (Linda), Jennifer, Kim, and Kelly, grandchildren Jonathan (Stephanie), Jessica, Alexandra, Charles, Calista, Benjamin, Lucas and great grands- Beau and Jace. Remembered by his brother Frank (Dorothy), and his sister-in-law Elaine (William). Predeceased by his sister Esther (Bill). Jim asked that we acknowledge those who helped fulfill his life…writers/journalists, hockey players, golfers, board members, roofers, jazz musicians, librarians, hospice workers, the chaplaincy, Dick Moffat, Gary Dennison, Mark Charboneau, Dick Whitney and the Elora Round Table Group. And then, “To my caring and talented wife Loes, you have made my life complete. I love you and I thank you”. As per Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to Groves Memorial Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home.
