Peace on Earth theme of Alma Santa parade
Christmas parade – The Alma Optimist Club Santa Claus Parade marked St. Nick’s final pre-Christmas trip though Wellington County on Dec. 18. Mother Nature decided Sunday was a good day for snow flurries, which was no problem, since Santa was towed into town by eight snowmobiles. The main street was crowded with people and the parade and the weather made the community a winter wonderland – and now the countdown to Christmas is on.
