PARKINSON, V. John
John died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Elora, on Saturday, April 11, 2020. John was born on March 22, 1951 in Rawdon, Quebec to parents Leslie B. Parkinson (1992) and Mary Doris Parkinson (nee Jones) (1995). He leaves behind his wife of 47 years Rosemary (Noonan), his daughter Lynn of Alma, his son Joshua of Elora, and 3 grandchildren Mikayla, Madison and Noah Franklin of Alma. Survived by two sisters Myrna Riddle (John (2017)) and Joyce Bradley (Russell) and four brothers Bill Parkinson (Susan), Gord Parkinson, Norman Parkinson (Bonnie) and Bruce Parkinson (Judy Dyck). Predeceased by his parents and brother Larry Parkinson (1998). As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be conducted. Donations can be directed to the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation.
