The family of Margaret Isabel Parkinson is saddened to announce the passing of Margaret on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in her 94th year at Hospice Wellington, Guelph. The family is grateful to the staff at Wellington Hospice for their supportive care the past two months. Margaret is survived by daughter-in-law Pat, children- Randy (Lena), Terry (Debbie), Reid (Bonny), Sally (Len Songer), and Francis, seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Jean Jackson, sisters-in-law Betty Major, and Jean Parkinson. Predeceased by her husband Donald, eldest son Peter, parents William and Pansy Major, and brothers Stuart and George Major. Also predeceased by granddaughter Becky and great-granddaughter Paige. A family memorial to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel. Memorial contributions to the Barrie Hill United Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret I. Parkinson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
