Parade a success
Dear Editor:
Santa Claus showed up in Rockwood on Dec. 12 amid another huge crowd waiting for him and all the local farmers with their farm equipment covered with lights!
The parade would not be possible without the great support of Guelph-Eramosa Township, Wellington County, the OPP and many local fire departments. Parade organizers would also like to thank Wellington Marketplace, Chantler’s Environmental, Drexler Construction, Denny’s Bus Lines, Mimosa 4-H and the Rockwood Lions Club for sponsoring our event.
Without the generous use of local farmers’ land for the parade and parking, the parade would not happen. Finally, a huge thank you to all the farmers in the parade who spent many hours decorating their farm equipment better than ever before. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
